Health education is important in the lives of people of all ages. It is important to educate people on many different health related issues in order to keep our population healthy and strong. Health education can consist of many different topics such as hygiene, diseases, safe sex and many others. These are topics that not all people are aware of or educated about, and if they were educated, would increase the health of people today and future generations because of the ability to act on their knowledge.
If we don't keep our current and future generations healthy, than we can not expect a bright future for our country. The human body needs to be healthy and well taken care of in order for the human mind to work at its best. When we can keep our people healthy, we can further educate them to produce a strong class of people. |
Simple lifestyle changes
About the size of a fist, a healthy human heart relies on oxygen and nutrients to continually beat and pump blood through our circulatory system, which is constructed out of a network of blood vessels, arteries, veins, and capillaries. Our heart is vital to our health and if it is not functioning properly, blood cannot circulate efficiently within our body and we will get sick, or may even die. This is a big problem, yet most people never really think about it, until a loved one has a heart attack, a close friend needs bypass surgery, or we ourselves are diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) or any other type of heart malfunction.
Types of Depressive Disorder
Depressive disorders, commonly known simply as ‘depression’, are considered syndromes, which reflect deep misery and/or irritable moods. These mental conditions usually exceed normal levels of sadness or grief, in intensity as well as duration. People experiencing the severe symptoms associated with depression can actually become functionally disabled and will require treatment to get better.
There are different types of depressions, and even though some causes and symptoms may be found in all forms of depression, some may also have their own set of indicators. Marked by excessive sadness and/or loss of interest in activities, a major or clinical depression is probably one of the most common forms of depression. The sufferers of this disorder seem to walk around with the weight of the world on their shoulders and the condition can severely disrupt their life, affecting appetite, sex drive, sleep, work, and close relationships. To be diagnosed with clinical depression, the symptoms must last for at least two weeks and be accompanied by other mental and physical depression symptoms. With this type of depression, the ‘down’ period can last several weeks or months, and then suddenly disappear. At least that is how the patient perceives it, but like the ocean tide rolling in and out, the symptoms usually return, especially if the patient never received proper treatment.
Responsibilities of a Dentist
When you start working as a dentist, you need to remember that the oral care for the patients comes on the first place. The role of the dentist does not start when the patient already has a tooth that aches him or her, but much earlier. Dentists should provide some preventative care to their patients in the form of education over the mouth hygiene. This includes proper brushing techniques, certain mouth products, preventative examinations, x-rays, proper cleaning and following appointments.
Lowering the blood sugar
Lowering the blood sugar through diet is one of the most critical parts of living with diabetes. High levels of blood sugar can lead to serious damage to the kidneys, eyes, nerves, and heart. Finding a way to lowering and regulate blood sugar is critical to ensuring the body stays in reasonable health. A healthier diabetic diet can help those who are already suffering from diabetes, as well preventing diabetes in people at high risk.
Understanding Memory Loss / Breast cancer
Preventing strokes is easier and more effective than dealing with the aftermath, and your future prospects are a lot more attractive. To do this, your body needs two things: smooth, supple arteries and cool, clean, free-flowing blood. Heres how to have both, naturally. Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke
