(PRWEB) April 23, 2008 -- From Prozac to Wellbutrin, Americans flock from therapists to pharmaceuticals to feel better emotionally. In a new breakthrough book called, "The Magic of Zero," author Christina Florence offers a series of simple and quick exercises that anyone can use to feel happier quickly. Readers of "The Magic of Zero" report that by following Florence's recommendations, they immediately begin to feel better and are able to start moving in a more positive direction -- without therapy or drugs.

is to pull the charge down to zero. Zero is the place where you've leveled the playing field. Everything begins from zero. Zero is neutral; it's a starting place. Once you've leveled your playing field, you are free to begin again, to create yourself anew.
Florence introduces the various powerful processes she used to bring herself out of a deep depression some years ago, including techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), as well as a process developed by Gary Craig, called EFT, (Emotional Freedom Technique). When the results she experienced were so overwhelmingly positive and relatively fast to achieve, she began to share them with others in her private practice as a hypnotherapist.

"Most people have mastered the art of worry," says Florence. "Even if they do not realize it, they are constantly repeating and embedding negative phrases into their subconscious mind. How many people say things, such as: 'This won't work; I can't do this; Nothing ever works for me; I'm not good enough; I don't deserve this; I'm never going to lose weight; I've tried everything,' etc? By using NLP, the Emotional Freedom Technique, and other techniques I share in 'The Magic of Zero,' self-defeating, habitual negative thought patterns are cleared away."

For example, when using EFT, Florence first instructs readers to gauge the emotional charge that is felt in relation to a thought or saying. For example, if someone feels angry, she will first ask that individual to rate the anger from 0-10, a "10" representing the highest emotional charge. Once the anger is rated, Florence will instruct the individual to tap certain points on the body while simultaneously stating, "I feel angry." These points are located in eight different places on the body. By tapping on the spots that are directly related to each of these eight locations on the body, emotional blockages, including detrimental thoughts and beliefs, are released, providing immediate emotional relief.

"The goal," says Florence, "is to pull the charge down to zero. Zero is the place where you've leveled the playing field. Everything begins from zero. Zero is neutral; it's a starting place. Once you've leveled your playing field, you are free to begin again, to create yourself anew."

"The Magic of Zero" can help anyone to release the pain and suffering of their past and move toward greater happiness immediately. When an emotion reaches the zero state, Florence shows readers how to install new thoughts to reach that much happier state of being.

"The various techniques I share work quickly. Within five minutes of reading 'The Magic of Zero,' anyone could be well on their way to achieving greater happiness."
