Cure for Common Cold Announced

Centuries-old secret Chinese herbal remedy introduced in America.

BERKELEY, CA (PRWEB) -- It may be Asia’s best-kept secret. Millions in China have cured their colds with an ancient herbal mixture virtually unknown in America. Today, Dr. Shen, a Chinese herb company in Berkeley, California announced the introduction of this cure in the United States.

The formula, available under the names YIN CHIAO and COLDSTOP, is a mixture of nine herbs such as honeysuckle and forsythia. It has been taken as a tea in China for over two hundred years according to Dr. Shen’s spokesman, Joel Harvey. “It was first documented in 1798 in China by Dr. Wuju Tong, but people were using it long before that. Yet, it was never shared with the Western world.”

It worked for all of us - immediately, unmistakably. I thought, Why is this a secret? Why didn’t anyone ever tell us about this? We started Dr. Shen to share these kinds of secrets with the world.
Realizing that most Americans are not inclined to drink Chinese herbal brews, the company has packaged the mixture into pill form. DR. SHEN’S YIN CHIAO is now available through many vitamin and natural food stores, including most Whole Foods and Wild Oats Markets, as well as on the company’s website, WWW.DRSHEN.COM.

Harvey, an acupuncturist and co-founder of the Dr Shen line, was amazed when he and his family first tried Yin Chiao-ColdStop. “It worked for all of us - immediately, unmistakably. I thought, Why is this a secret? Why didn’t anyone ever tell us about this? We started Dr. Shen to share these kinds of secrets with the world.”

The company is hosting a series of free public classes on how Chinese herbs can be used to solve simple medical problems. The series, entitled Chinese Herbs: OLD IS GOOD, will meet on alternate Sundays in Berkeley, California. The first free class, Stopping, Relieving, and Preventing the Common Cold is being held on:
